1 Transmission distance is affected by terrain and other interference.  Transmission distance may be increased with optional high gain antennas and/or repeaters.

For the camera base, a computer is not required to connect to the base.  One camera acts as a base to receive the pictures from all other cameras.  The pictures received at the camera base are stored on its SD card.

The X-Series Network Manager Software is installed on the PC of which the PCBase is connected.  This PC needs to be running 24/7 in order for pictures received to be on forwarded to email recipients.  Trap and sensor triggering can only be undertaken at this PC.

4 Requires a specialist SIM card configured with a public IP address and an annual subscription to Buckeye Cam's Interactive Site (cloud service) to enable trap/sensor triggering from a mobile phone while on the go.

FeralTech offers customers a number of different telecommunication data plans for the SIM it can provide with the CellBase, billed quarterly in arrears.  For further information about our telecommunication services and data plans please vist our Data Plan page.
